The Minorite Church in Vienna attracts attention. It grows like a bastion on the square. Minoritenplatz is a quiet place in the middle of the bustling Austrian capital. Minoritenkirche was founded by Minorites who have been based in Vienna since 1224. Despite the fact that the Minorite Order preaches the rejection of wealth, the decoration of the church is impressive. Throughout its history, the temple has been rebuilt more than once, giving the building features of various architectural styles.

Under the cross vault of the Minoritenkirche, you will see a real treasure - the mosaic of Giacomo Rafaeli. This is an exact replica of the famous fresco "The Last Supper" by Leonardo da Vinci, which is located in Milan's Santa Maria Della Grazie monastery. The original has survived to this day in a deplorable state, but the Raphaeli mosaic, on the contrary, is perfectly preserved.

One fine and sunny autumn day, I went to this square to capture this very beautiful church.
